Arthur & Ivana – Gorwell Farm wedding in October

Arthur and Ivana were married in October in a beautiful countryside Gorwell Farm wedding in Dorset. The creative couple were keen to combine both of their heritages into their day – English and Serbian. Gorwell Farm was the perfect relaxed countryside setting for their wedding celebrations.

Ivana talked of her inspiration for her flowers, bright colour popping dahlia’s and Dutch mastery compositions. Her heart was set on getting married outside under the huge beech tree bucking the usual tradition of using the venues gazebo. It was touch and go when the rain set in all morning but we got this dry break that lasted all afternoon. It was quite possibly the coldest day of Autumn but with pre-warned guests, they arrived wrapped up ready for the outdoor celebrations. Ivana wore a beautiful, Kenzo knitted jumper over her dress to keep warm and her Nike’s so she could climb the slope to the beech tree. Later she changed into her purple suede platform heels. Ivana nailed her wedding style and then some! I see some beautiful weddings, but Arthur and Ivana’s day completely stood out to me. From the styling to the details to the dress…to them. This lovely pair that were equally kind as they were welcoming, creative as they were relaxed and above all so in love. Arthur, a complete gentleman, Ivana a creative spirit, this day was so theirs.
