Isn’t that the truth.
I don’t think anyone needs me to re-cap the world events of the past year, we all know what happened well enough. We lived it and unfortunately we are still living it but I hope that where ever you are, you are finding a way to keep positive and that your loved ones are keeping safe and well. I really am so hopeful that with the vaccine rolling out, the days are coming that will be filled with endless hugs and jam packed dance floors once again. They could not come soon enough.
Everything that happened this past year is what makes a photography year review more important than ever. Despite the majority of my weddings being postponed, there were those beautiful intimate weddings that found their way to go ahead. Beginning with my first wedding of the year in Wanaka, New Zealand, untouched by the world events to come and finishing on a high with a beautiful candlelit New Years Eve ceremony in Dorset – I captured 7 unforgettable wedding days. So this post isn’t going to focus on the pandemic because this wasn’t all that 2020 was. Far from it. In a year of unimaginable heartache and unprecedented challenges, there was love.
2020 was a year of a million missed moments but here are some of the completely precious ones that weren’t.
