Meeting Gemma and Darren for the first time at the beginning of this year I got a feel for the kind of day they were planning and it sounded awesome. They both wanted low key, relaxed, and informal, somewhere their friends and family could just hang out and have the most fun and they found their perfect setting in the secluded, pretty village of Tarrant Monkton in Dorset. The ceremony was set to be in All Saints Church and the celebrations in The Langton Arms just opposite, surroundings that were ever so fitting for their theme. Gemma and Darren’s September date quickly came around and their day was every bit the relaxed, rustic countryside creation I knew they had hoped for.
Gemma wore an elegant Alfred Angelo wedding dress which was perfectly complimented with a stunning full length veil by Elizabeth Dickens. With a pretty, ‘undone’ up do, fresh flowers in her hair and a wild, rustic bouquet of pastel tones, Gemma was an effortlessly stunning bride. Her closest friends and bridesmaids, Nicola and Sophie wore pretty dusky pink Asos dresses, whilst Darren and his groomsmen wore tailored navy suits from Moss Bros and burgundy ties. Such a completely dreamy colour theme from start to finish! What a beautiful day with the wonderful personal touches of homemade decorations and wedding favours in the picture perfect setting of Tarrant Monkton.
Gemma and Darren, thank you SO much for choosing me to capture your day, it was a beauty, you both made me feel so welcome and I loved being there. Enjoy!
